All our dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them
As a sculptor I am inspired by the beauty of the nature, abundance of its forms, variation of colors and infinite choices of
composition. I use realistic expressions in imaginary environment created by the natural shape of a wood or a rock that I am using as my armature.
I am particularly interested in the relationship between an experience of shape and movement. My sculptures begin as raw drafts of shapes and impressions of movement that have deeply captured my
attention. It's as if I have been dreaming them and have left traces at my bedside to build upon from waking. Sculpture can be a mute invitation to be moved by the power of symbol. It speaks
through its physical presence. Mind cannot be separated from its object. Feeling is always feeling something. A bird's flight, or a carved gesture of it, can release within human body the sensations
of flying, or liberation. There is duality in every form of existence and when left meets right, top reaches bottom, realistic style joins contemporary one - it is a perfect storm creating
breathtaking beauty of the world in imaginary reflections.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
